This five-day course builds on students' existing knowledge of UNIX system administration and helps them to develop the knowledge and skills to perform advanced system administration tasks. Students will learn about networking essentials, how to use the Solaris Management Consoles, set up an NFS client and server, work with access control lists, manage system logs, work with naming services, set up DNS and LDAP clients, and configure an NIS server.
