Spring and Hibernate Courseware

The Spring Framework: Spring is a lightweight, open source framework that facilitates Java application development, including every level of multi-tier distributed systems. By design, the framework provides easy-to-use solutions that are well-documented, simplifying compliance with industry best practices.

Our course focuses on the Core and MVC modules, as well as persistence through JDBC and Hibernate DAO modules.

Java Persistence with Hibernate: The Object/Relational Mapping tool Hibernate is used as a persistence mechanism in Java applications. Hibernate facilitates the mapping of an object-oriented domain model to a relational database. Hibernate reduces development time in adapting information from a database. Hibernate can generate SQL calls and handle the results and conversion of those calls, promoting application portability while saving time and effort.

Our course offering uses the latest release version of Hibernate, 3.2.
